Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted and created by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week there is a bookish topic for which one can create a list of 10 (or more or less) items that fit said theme! This week’s amazing topic is:

December 27: Top Ten Best Books Of 2016 (you choose — best books overall of what you read regardless of pub date, of a particular genre, 2016 debuts, 2016 releases, etc)

I am excited to share with you the books I loved in 2016! Some, I only listened to on Audible, but others I read myself. To be completely honest, my reading this year was a little random. It’s a weird mix of some manga, some graphic novels, some audio books and e-books and a few physical books. I am not too happy about that, but whatever. At the end of the list I will do a short analysis of what I read in the form of stats. Let’s get right into it, in no particular order!

10 You by Caroline Kepnes
9 Night Film by Marisha Pessl
8 Blauschmuck by Katharina Winkler
7 1Q84 #1 & #2 by Haruki Murakami
6 Losing It by Cora Carmack
5 Desert Flower by Waris Dirie
4 Ms. Marvel by G. Willow Wilson
3 Das Paket by Sebastian Fitzek
2 Wind/Pinball by Haruki Murakami
Dead Dead Demon’s Dededededestruction 1 by Asano Inio
