This site will be subject to change once I find the time and motivation to do so within the next few days. Most of it is still true, I’m just 25 now.

I’m a 23-year-old software engineering student from Graz, Austria. Reading has always been a passion of mine. If you want to, you can call me Liz.

This blog will be focusing on my reading and progress as well as book reviews, to-be-reads, monthly wrap-ups, read-a-thons that I will be participating in and recommendations of works that I’ve loved. I have always wanted to write and create things myself, but I have never quite gotten to it and now is the time. If you’ve got any requests of posts, let me know anytime.

Most of my reading will either be done in English or German. Since German is my mother tongue it is way easier and quicker to read books written in this language. Due to the reason that it is quicker and I don’t have to translate the pages in my head as I read them, books written in German help me get out of my reading slumps most often. I’ve started reading in English quite a long while ago and it often is my preferred choice. I’ve taken three semesters of Spanish classes at university and I want to be able to read a book in Spanish (someday).

My favourite genres include Young Adult (more than I initially wanted to admit), New Adult, Contemporary, Classics, Crime, Thriller, Graphic Novels and Manga. In no particular order.

Other things that I am passionate about are video games, movies, programming and my friends.

I hope you will enjoy my content on here. To follow my progress on Goodreads you can click here. If you have any further questions. feel free to ask.

Thank you for spending a portion of your precious time on here. Have a nice day!

Wow, Crime and Classics are some genres I am not very well versed in AT ALL. But I am still looking forward to getting to know you and your blog a little better. Austrians unite! hahaha

Does this make it sound like I know what I am doing? I hope not so much … Same, I’m also looking forward to getting to know you better! Austrians unite!

You like some of my favorite and less favorite genres 😀 I’m a big crime, thriller, and contemporary fan, but classics are a challenge. Manga… Well, living in Japan and studying the language, I had to try but it’s really not my cup of tea!
I’m French, but I can’t stand to read in my language. The only books I can see myself reading in French is the Harry Potter series, because it brings back childhood memories and the translation is not bad. Other than that, I pick English editions, even if the original story was written in French. It does take me a tiny bit longer to read because I add flashcards and spend 10minutes per word looking for the best definitions and translations, but it’s funnier that way 🙂
I’m looking forward to getting to know you better!

Hey! Yeah, classics aren’t for everyone, they can be quite boring at times. You’re living in Japan? How cool is that?! How come it isn’t? Also, french does sound beautiful, how come it’s not of interest to you to read in it? I also have that, I will always read or watch certain things in German, there’s just no other way. That’s quite ambitious! I’m also looking forward to getting to know you better and reading more about and of you!

I lived in Kyoto for a year, it was great, except for the food. I get distracted by the drawings in manga and always forget to read, haha! In the end, it doesn’t grab me like any good book would. I use French because I have to, but English is a passion, and I enjoy everything so much more when it’s done in this language 🙂

Hi! I stumbled upon your blog and noticed that you’re relatively new to all of this (I think). Welcome to the blogging community! I haven’t been here for a long time as well, and I’m still getting the hang of everything. But anyway. I just wanted you to know that I’ve read a couple of your posts and I think you’re doing pretty fantastic so far! Hoping we’ll be friends and cheer each other on!

Why didn’t I know my best friend had such an amazing book blog? This is bookseller approved material right here, girl.
    (We gotta talk about this.)

Like seriously how can you not tell your best friend, who is a bookseller, that you are famous?
